Giving sustainably: less plastic, more impact

22 May 2026 · 3 min read

How we package without plastic, pack via a social employment workshop, and donate surplus to the food bank.

A Christmas hamper doesn't need to be a mountain of polystyrene. We use cardboard made from recycled material, paper filling and no plastic shrink wrap.

Packing takes place at a social employment workshop in Utrecht. That creates dozens of meaningful jobs in the city every year.

Any surplus non-perishable products go to the food bank. That way nothing goes to waste and the surplus ends up where it's needed.

Choosing delivery to a single address also significantly reduces transport movements. For home delivery, we bundle by postcode area.
